Choose a dining table based on your needs and the space available. Choose a standard height of around 75 cm for optimal comfort. Allow about 60 cm in width per person to determine the ideal length, generally between 180 and 240 cm to accommodate 6 to 8 guests. Make sure there is at least 90 cm of space around the table to allow free movement. Consider materials and designs that match your decor, while keeping budget and practicality in mind.

Make sure the activity triangle (the area between the sink, stove and fridge) is well optimized for easy movement and preparation. Also think about circulation in the kitchen to avoid space clutter.
